EMPOWERING YOUTH, INSPIRING CHANGE
— EDMUND BLACKMORE

What We Do

At EB Foundation (Edmund Blackmore Foundation), we work to empower young people and strengthen communities through inclusive, skills-based, and impact-driven programs. Our work focuses on building resilient youth leaders, promoting peace and human rights, advancing mental well-being, and creating opportunities for global engagement and sustainable development.

We believe that when young people are equipped with skills, supported mentally and emotionally, and included regardless of background or identity, they become powerful agents of positive change.

SPECIFIC OBJECTS

Youth Empowerment & Leadership Development: To equip young people with leadership, entrepreneurship, digital literacy, and vocational skills necessary for personal development, employability, and lifelong success.

Human Rights, Inclusion & Social Justice: To advocate for and promote inclusive human rights education, gender equality, disability inclusion, child protection, and the elimination of discrimination in all forms.

Non-profit Sustainability Activities: To generate resources through socially responsible ventures, training programs, consultancy services, and fundraising activities that directly support the Foundation’s charitable objectives, without any profit distribution to members.

Global Volunteering & Cultural Exchange: To promote global citizenship through structured volunteer exchange programs that connect Ghanaian youth with international learning experiences and host foreign volunteers for community development initiatives in Ghana.

Community Development & Social Impact Initiatives: To design and implement community-based projects focused on health, education, sanitation, mentorship, and poverty reduction.

LGBTQ+ Inclusion: EB Foundation supports inclusive and safe environments for all young people, including LGBTQ+ individuals, who often face stigma, exclusion, and mental health challenges.

Skills Training & Capacity Building: To establish and support skills training centres and programs that provide practical, market-relevant training in trades, technology, creative arts, personal development, and social innovation.

Peace, Security & Social Cohesion: To advance peace education, conflict resolution, and community safety initiatives that empower youth as peace ambassadors and strengthen social stability and resilience.

Environmental Sustainability & Climate Action: To promote environmental conservation, climate awareness, waste reduction, and sustainable living practices within communities and schools.

Research, Innovation & Policy Advocacy: To conduct research, promote evidence-based advocacy, and support policies that address youth development, education, human rights, peace, and environmental sustainability.

Partnerships & International Collaboration: To collaborate with governmental institutions, civil society, academic institutions, businesses, and international development partners to advance shared goals in youth empowerment and sustainable development.

Youth Mental Health & Psychosocial Well-Being: EB Foundation recognizes that mental health is fundamental to youth development, productivity, and social stability. Many young people face stress, anxiety, trauma, social pressure, unemployment-related distress, and identity-related challenges—often without access to support.
